The Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Marine Services Association of Trinidad and Tobago, has officially opened a new Port Health Office at the CrewsInn Compound in Chaguaramas.

This facility strengthens Trinidad and Tobago’s maritime infrastructure by improving access to efficient and timely port health clearance services for vessels, operators and other stakeholders operating in the Chaguaramas peninsula.

The office is fully operational and open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including public holidays, ensuring consistent service to support the growing demands of the maritime and tourism sectors.

The establishment of this office reflects a continued commitment to enhancing ease of doing business, safeguarding public health, and supporting the development of Trinidad and Tobago as a competitive maritime and tourism destination.
